“I’m old ,I’m not old…age is in the mind”
Staring at my reflection I recited this mantra.
This milestone has made me question a lot in my life because a lot is expected from a person in this age group: maturity, life goals and confidence in what the future holds. Many times I questioned if I was ready to introduce myself with my new age or if I should wait till I looked the part.
At a point I claimed it was society that had those expectations from me but later on I realized that a long time ago, I also had set expectations in my mind of who I would want to be by then.
I admit I’m still confused on what to do but I’m more confident in God and myself on what the future holds. I look forward to an interesting year ahead of growth and adventures.
